The Govt. of Bangladesh has set up strict regulations for solar power. To measure the right distribution of power between your property and the grid, a reliable net metering system has become mandatory. Here’s as it’s followed:
If your home load profile or expansion request is over 2KW, according to Bangladesh Government Regulations for Solar Power, 3% of the total load from Solar Energy is mandatory.
If any commercial or industrial load profile is below 50KW, it is mandatory that 7% of two continuous loads ( such as fans and lights ) comes from solar power. On the other hand, for any load connection or expansion request above 50KW, 10% of two continuous loads ( such as fans and lights ) from solar power is a must.
Boundary is set as 7% of total light and fan load should be delivered by solar power. However, mark that, solar power can not cover more than 70% of any total load sanctioned for commercial, industrial or residential use.
